Fun and lightweight to wear, these recycled glass beads also known as trade beads have true humble beginnings.  They are made by skilled craftsmen in Africa that still use these ancient methods of making beads to this day.  These men use recycled glass from bottles, broken cups, plates and more.  They crush and break the glass into a fine powder, pour into nature made molds and then they fire the powder in an extremely hot kiln outdoors.  After cooled and sorted, these beautiful hand crafted beads are sold all over the world.  Now you have a little history of African Ghana beads.
